Matty digs out the 1984 Dragontales gamebook Sword Daughter's Quest by Rhondi Vilott and reads it to Garrett Robinson, author of the Underrealm series.

Tyrna's travelling party have been bumped off by Orcs, including her dad. 'Fortunately' (note sarcastic quotes), a Half-Elf ranger with a very...distinctive name shows up to 'help' her as she sets out to...vengeance? Or something? It's not terribly clear.
