Episode 2 of Sherloctober 2018 sees returning mainstay and Reccers Kristie drop in to talk about the 2018 HBO Asia/Hulu co-production 'Miss Sherlock', a modern take on the Holmes template set in Japan with female leads.
Kristie uses her vast expertise to explain how the Japanese concept of Omoiyari influences the depiction of a character derived from Sherlock Holmes, the South Korean show 'Queen of Mystery' is discussed and we end up talking about Batman again, sorry.

We're back and switching it up after one episode, this time we're joined by new co-host Erica who is very much the Fonz to our...I don't actually remember anyone from that show except the Fonz, which if anything only further serves to prove my point! In your face, haters.
As usual we talk about our recent acquisitions, upcoming new releases we have our eyes on, Becka's Megatron problem and round out by sharing our hottest takes on the Bumblebee Movie trailer! Also we do swears and say the most unconscionable things about Beast Wars Megatron who is, as we touch on, Quite Nasty.

Tyrna's travelling party have been bumped off by Orcs, including her dad. 'Fortunately' (note sarcastic quotes), a Half-Elf ranger with a very...distinctive name shows up to 'help' her as she sets out to...vengeance? Or something? It's not terribly clear.
